  John Rewald and Paul Moses

An exhibition catalogue from one of the largest and most comprehensive collection of Edgar Degas' etchings shown to date. A group of approximately 100 etchings and copperplates (some of which had never before been shown) were included in the exhibition.

Mr. Paul Moses, instructor in the Department of Art at the University of Chicago, was commissioned by the Societe des Arts et Metiers Graphiques of Paris to publish a book on the work of Degas. The foreword of the publication is by John Rewald, Professor of Art at the University of Chicago and internationally known authority on 19th Century French Art.
