Festival of Religious Art: The Guelph Treasure

March 31 – April 21, 1931

This exhibition was organized under the shared auspices of The Renaissance Society and the Antiquarian Society of the Art Institute of Chicago. It is one of a cycle of three exhibitions arranged as part of the annual Festival of Religious Art. It is a superb group of medieval objects created at a time when the religious spirit was closely united with ecclesiastical purpose.
