Hejinian is among the most prominent of contemporary American poets. She is the author of several volumes of poetry including My Life (1987) Writing Is an Aid to Memory (1996), The Cold of Poetry (1994). Her most recent work is a collection of critical essays, The Language of Inquiry, published last year. This event will take place in Swift Hall, third floor lecture hall.
