The Double continues Feingold?s project of building a language system from ordered sequences of images and sounds, and investigating the ways in which information is received and perceived. He describes his approach as ?the world surveyed for extreme manifestations, wild examples. This work is about the space in between all these things, the gaps that open in between all these things, the gaps that open up before us when we look at ourselves in the world and find our pulses racing a bit from?what?...the knowledge that we are part of all this??
