Stephen Foster designed the photographs in the exhibition to be appreciated in conjunction with the music of Steve Lacey, the jazz musician, currently residing in Europe. Because Mr. Lacey was unable to attend the opening of the exhibit, two prominent A.A.C.M. reedmen, Henry Threadgill and Douglas Ewart, presented a new interpretation of the visual images.
