LECTURE SERIES: The Music of Japan

Wednesday, January 16: "Regional Minstrels and Itinerant Minstrels of Japan"

Thursday, January 17: "Music in Buddhism"

Friday, January 21: "Japanese Imperial Court Music"

The lectures will be illustrated by Eta Harich-Schneider's own tape recordings. All lectures at 8:15 p.m., Social Science Room 122.

A reception and tea to honor the lecturer will follow the first lecture on January 16, in the galleries of the Renaissance Society.
