Vincenzo Celli and his Classical Italian Ballet Company

DANCE PERFORMANCE
May 19 – May 19, 1937

 
The President and board of directors of the Renaissance Society announce a second annual ballet to be given in Mandel Hall on the evening of Wednesday, May the 19th at 8:15 o'clock by
Vincenzo CelliSignor Celli needs no introduction to the Chicago audiences. He dances at La Scala where he was premier dancer for a number of seasons. He was Pavlova's partner in London. His last appearance in Chicago, April 25th, 1937, was under the auspices of the adult education forum. The members of the Ballet were trained by Signor Celli personally and all of the dances in the Ballet were created by him. As an addition to the program he will give a unique number without music called "Song Without Words" dedicated to the Renaissance Society.
